Prince Andrew, Duke of York, was born on February 19, 1960, at Buckingham Palace. He is the second son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Andrew served in the Royal Navy from 1979 to 2001 and was actively involved in missions during the Falklands War as a helicopter pilot. He held the position of the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment from 2001 to 2011, working to promote British economic interests globally. The Duke of York has also participated in various ceremonial and state functions on behalf of the Royal Family.
